Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Father Raymond Halligan, O.P. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

A coincidence

Yesterday I read the obituary in the Philadelphia Inquirer. I was baptized at Holy Innocents Church and my family and I remained  in the parish until 1953. I was educated by Dominicans  1st thru 12th grade. I continued with the Dominicans in College, became a Dominican Sister in 1958 and am still a semiretired Dominican .

Yesterday at our Liturgy, Father Caesarone remembered him. It seems Father taught him at LaSalle. He spoke with many plaudits about him.  What else would you say of a Dominican!

I have spent most of life teaching - first in Westchester County, then in Camden City, NJ. My models were always the wonderful examples I was given.

I hope Father did not suffer and yes, I am curious. What is the Pleasantville connection? Sitting in my room is a student desk from the first grade classroom.  When the school at the corner was replaced, the furniture was sold.  My brother PATRICK(rip)  and I each purchased one to remember the good times.

May God grant you peace and God bless the Dominican Family.

With peace,
