Obituary for Debra A. Marello
Debra A. Marello (Ireland), of Valhalla, New York, passed away on April 2, 2017 at the age of 59.
She was born on September 20, 1957 in Hempstead, New York to Arthur and Anita Ireland. She married her husband Steven Marello on August 23, 1980 and moved to Valhalla, New York.
She began her career as a CPA with D'Arcangelo & Co., LLP where she rose to become a Partner with the firm.
She enjoyed vacationing in Walt Disney World and became very active with the Boy Scouts of America were she helped countless young scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
She is survived by her husband Steven, her two sons Kenneth and Jeffrey, her parents Arthur and Anita and sisters Nancy and Barbara.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be held at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road,Pleasantville, NY 10570
On Tuesday from 1-3pm and 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Valhalla United Methodist Church, 200 Columbus Ave.
Valhalla, NY 10595 on Wednesday at 11:30am followed by interment at Kensico Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Westchester-Putnam Council, Boy Scouts of America to establish a permanent endowment fund in Debbi’s honor for camp scholarships at Camp Read.
