Days past

When my family moved to Pleasantville in 1960, I was a 5 year old introvert with speech impediments.  Shortly after, this wild red-headed extrovert banged at my parents door asking if I could come out and play.  Playtime was never the same after that day!  We might have been different in some ways, but we were always connected.  Once his Aunt Ginny was talking to us, Tommy & I just looked at each other which made Aunt Ginny burst into laughter.  We looked at her puzzled and she just laughed and said we didn't even have to speak to know what we were thinking.  RIP my good friend.
