Condolences and love to the entire Ravosa family. My heart is there with you all. There are so many memories of my musical journey and friendship with this wonderful friend who changed my life in ways only few can understand. I'll never forget first meeting Carmino and dreaming of having him write a couple of songs for my kids. Remembering the show he wrote for our town and the excitement of putting that first show on together. I remember calling and requesting songs and Carmino would write masterpieces for not just my kids but kids around the nation as composer in residence at Edison. Remembering having margaritas together with Carmino and Claire at conferences. Will never forget calling he and Claire after perfoiming with Elton John. Boston Pops and 360 other performances and laughing and trying to tell him about each performance and reminding him that it was him who made my career so successful. I remember getting standing ovations after perfoing his songs and when he wrote a song. It was like his baby. Especially remembering producing A Salute To Carmino with is family and having the chance to honor him in some way. I loved getting to his entire family and loving them so much. Carminos spirit wlll live on in so many ways but especially through his music. He has touched so many children with his songs and have Jumpstarted many music careers.. My prayers are with you my dear friend and mentor. I will miss you so much.
