I was his student at Fox Meadow School 40 years ago and remember his classes with great fondness and joy. I kept the love of music he instilled in me, and grew up to become a musicologist. Then, 10 years ago, my son was in kindergarten singing in the school chorus to all of the parents on Parents Night. What an overwhelming sensation to look down at the program and see that all the songs were by Mr. Ravosa! Tears rolled down my face, as they do today. All my condolences to the Ravosa family.
