The Song was Wrong

The song was wrong!  I will be afraid even though you go before me always.  Fran, you were supposed to wait your turn.

The song was wrong.  I'm not all out of love but I am lost without you.

The song was wrong, he was heavy, prednisone took care of that. The song was right, no burden was he, and we are laden with sadness and of course we know the road was just made longer.

The psalm was wrong, the song is wrong.  There is no time nor season for this.  How could it be in springtime! Brother Fran has just managed to change spring to winter.

Hush Marley!  Yes woman you cry, this will be our song for awhile.

Incorrect!  Things did come between us but he's a brother of mine.  Just hear his voice sing all the songs of the Earth.

Those of you who gathered to help lead our brother home are to be thanked.  Much like the bovine going through the glasswares section we do less leading and more following and sweeping up.  We regret that we must impose upon your kindness and prayers once more, for we have lost our compass and now have lost our tillerman.  As we drift aimlessly we rely on you to bring us toward shore.  Much love to you Francis Xavier
