The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Tierney, Jr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Uncle jim

I had the pleasure of meeting him in his office in mount Vernon in the early 1990 's , roughly 25 years ago. From what I could see his job was non stop for the entire day. Guys were running in and out of his office constantly and not only did he handle them all he took the time to introduce me as his nephew , my sisters son to every single one. That's what a respectable gentleman does in the company of others. I was very impressed to see his skill with people and his knowledge that enabled him to give these guys direction without hesitation. They were talking about dropping boxes that day and he new all the locations and the cast of characters involved .II knew then as I know now that he worked very hard and long to be in that office that day. I made many deals with uncle Jim for various things over the years and he was always direct and straight up. A proud man that went the distance . I will miss you uncle Jim. Raymond John Martin
